"As Minister of the Interior, I have signed many decisions of financial support of the Local Government, especially in areas that have been affected much more by the coronavirus and there is ongoing cooperation, checks by the Municipal Police - where it exists- and institutional framework, which enables the Municipalities to utilize the rest of their staff ", underlined Mr.. Theodorikakos.
ASEP-PROCEDURES
Asked about the reform in way of recruitment in the State and in ASEP, he said that through the changes new opportunities are given to the new generation, meritocracy is strengthened and the procedures in the way of recruitment are accelerated through the digitization of ASEP.
As he noted, the bill will be voted on as soon as the Parliament opens, after the holidays, adding that he did not see significant differences between the parties' positions on the Committees.

The specific bill, concerns the period of the pandemic and the settlement to the people whose debts were confirmed, from the 15 February, that is,, we go a few weeks back to when the first quarantine started. Ever since the problem with the coronavirus pandemic began, until the end of the year. For all these citizens, who during this period have been affected by the coronavirus and have been assured of debts to the Municipalities, let them go and set them to 100 doses", stressed Mr..
