28 April: World Occupational Safety and Health Day
Με την πανδημία COVID-19 να είχε βαθιές επιπτώσεις παντού, to have brought sweeping upheavals in employees and employment relationships This year's World Occupational Safety and Health Day gains even more significant dimensions and substantive importance.
This year's World Day focuses in strategies for strengthening national Occupational Safety and Health systems (ΑΥΕ) in order to make them more durable and strong, to deal with current and future crises, through the experiences gained (from the world of work).
The ECNC endorses the effort and necessity of strengthening the ADR systems, including occupational health services at work, insisting however that to make an effective forecast, crisis preparation and response should be given first specific weight in a number of parameters such as: strengthening and supporting employees, staffing and proper manning, compliance with labor laws-regulations-measures.
First of all, the needs that exist in each region should be met and the particularities should be addressed (lack of measures, dysfunction of control mechanisms, illegal work, intensification coke) so that there is, finally, a general coordination to the best possible result.
