New extension was given for the statement of undeclared square, deadline which expired on 31 August.
Property owners will have another month, until 30 September, to correct the squares of their real estate that are declared in the municipalities based on the declaration of assets (E9) submitted to AADE
The announcement of the Ministry of Interior
"As it is known, the sub. Interior before 8 months enabled all citizens to finally resolve a significant issue they have towards the Municipalities and the state in general: Many houses are declared with less square meters to the Municipalities than they are in E9.
This measure, which due to coronavirus took two extensions, March and June, has been embraced by society and until now 1.650.000 citizens corrected the sq.m.. in their properties. They have appeared this way 35 from. sq.m.. Citizens have thus escaped fines of hundreds of millions of euros.
Local government and the state earn tens of millions of euros each year for additional revenue that was not received poorly in previous years.
The flow of statements in recent days proves that the extent of the problem is ultimately huge and the undeclared squares were no exception, but the majority rule. Our aim is for everyone to make use of this measure and put an end to a long-standing issue..
Is, also, given that the state of emergency we are in for many months, due to the coronavirus pandemic, has created difficulties for many citizens, particularly older and not familiar with the internet, to complete these statements.
There is also confusion from inaccuracies reported in the public debate in relation to other ongoing processes, such as the arbitrary declaration.
These are the reasons why the Ministry of Interior announces a final extension until 30/9. So that there is no longer any excuse and everyone fulfills this obligation. "Together we can turn a debt relationship into a relationship of trust. The state respects the citizens and the citizens respect the state.".
How to make the statement
The correction of forgotten squares is done on a special online platform (https://tetragonika.govapp.gr/) created by the Ministry of Interior, the KEDE, the General Secretariat for Information Systems of Public Administration (ΓΓΠΣΔΔ) and the Independent Public Revenue Authority (ΑΑΔΕ). The statement is made in four simple steps.
Step 1: Connect to the system via the access data (via user name and password) at TAXISnet.
Step 2: Creating a statement for each property for which the interested party wishes to proceed to the correction of the details of the square meters, initially selecting the municipality to which it belongs.
Step 3: Select the property he wants to correct from the list of all his properties and modify the number of square meters, according to the facts, which have been declared in E9.
Step 4: Submission of the declaration.
