The application of the measure of the imposition of the performance tax on the tax year is suspended for the main professional farmers. 2019, as the Deputy Minister of Finance Apostolos Vesyropoulos announced today in the Parliament, answering a topical question from the KKE.
"We are fully aware of the reality and it would be absurd, in this difficult time, to burden farmers by paying a performance fee, 650 euro. By his decision Prime Minister We are proceeding with the suspension of the implementation of the measure and the relevant one will be submitted directly to the Parliament legislation», stressed Mr.. Vesyropoulos as broadcast by the Athens News Agency.
The beneficiaries are the farmers of the normal regime, who are exempted from the obligation to pay a performance fee.
With the current ones, farmers who joined from 1 January 2014 in the normal regime VAT and completed the five-year exemption from the achievement fee on 31 December 2018, had for the tax years from 2019 and next, obligation to pay a performance fee, which would have to be paid within it 2020.

Our commitment has been and remains to reduce the down payment tax, to be announced in the coming days, but also the reduction and gradual abolition of the performance fee for all professionals ".
