The process of submitting applications for exemption from mobile telephony charges is in full swing.
The measure concerns young people from 15 until 29 years and "catches" both mobile and prepaid contracts. Only one application is required to be exempt from mobile charges, that of inclusion in the Register of Beneficiaries of Exemption of Fees for Mobile Telephony and prepaid telephony (Μη.Δ.Α.Τε).
Το Μη.Δ.Α.Τε. is the register of beneficiaries of exemption from mobile telephony subscribers and prepaid telephony charges, which is managed by the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration of the Ministry of Digital Government, under the operational supervision of the Ministry of Finance.
It is indicative that after the launch of the mobilefees.gov.gr platform, more than 1.000 applications for exemption from mobile phone charges. Until 7:30, this morning, successful applications were 21.784.
mobilefees.gov.gr: Who are the beneficiaries?
Beneficiaries are all natural persons from 15 to 29 years who have a mobile phone number in the network of a mobile telephony service provider based in Greece.
Specifically, Beneficiaries are those who have reached the age of 14 and have not completed the age of 30 by December 31 of last year.
The 5 steps to get rid of mobile phone charges
To connect to mobilefees.gov.gr you need the Taxisnet codes and the AMKA or PAAPA of the beneficiary - yours or the minor child.
The 4 The steps for submitting the application are as follows:
Step 1 - Login with Taxisnet codes and enter AMKA or PAAPA of the applicant
Step 2 - Enter beneficiary details
Step 3 - Select a provider, enter a mobile phone number and enter a One Time Password (is sent to the mobile to confirm the number)
Step 4 Complete the registration
Step 5 View and save the application
For the second step, Note that if the application concerns a minor beneficiary in your custody, select "Minor under your care". In the field that appears, the AMKA / PAAVPA of the minor beneficiary is registered. Immediately after we select "continue".
In case of change of provider, due to portability, the Registry will be updated automatically. The "Application Status" column in your registration panel will initially display "Portability". At this stage, the "Actions" column remains inactive, until the portability process is complete. Upon successful completion of portability, the column "Application Status", will display again “Active”.
When the application is submitted
Registration in the Register - which started yesterday- is done in a specific order, based on the expiration of the TIN.
Specifically :
• 10 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 0
• 11 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 1
• 12 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 2
• 13 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 3
• 14 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 4
• 15 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 5
• 16 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 6
• 17 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 7
• 18 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 8
• 19 January 2022: activation of VAT with a final digit 9.
