The countdown for the announcement by the Prime Minister of the new increase of the minimum wage has already started, which according to information from aftodioikisi.gr will take place immediately after Easter on 26 – 27 April.
The increase will range between 5,5 with 6% as aftodioikisi.gr has written.
It is pointed out that the employer side proposes a nominal increase 4%, while along with the increase of the minimum wage from May 1, he calls for a simultaneous reduction of insurance contributions by 1,5 percentage unit. GSEE proposes the return of the minimum wage to 751 euro.
Today the introductory (minimum) salary is at 663 euros gross. But it also increases with the first three years in 729,3 euro, with the second in 795,6 euros and with the third in 861,90 euro.
In any case, the increase in the minimum wage will bring with it a number of allowances which are linked to it and will receive a corresponding increase.
