This time the announcement for finding a compatible donor was made by the donor himself by posting it on the PV, from his enthusiasm and joy to be in this unique position to give hope to a life
The first words of Giannis Neveskiotis after being informed by KEDMOP – Give Life for the possibility of giving life!
"A few hours ago I received a wonderful phone call from the University of Patras . I could only compare the joy I felt with my wife's announcement of pregnancy. So I was informed that I was found to be the only compatible bone marrow donor in the world, with a girl in Italy. Thus he has significant chances of being saved from Leukemia. Because of the work of the Association of Blood Donors of Kozani Bridge of Life, I accidentally participated in one of their actions and now I think something wonderful will happen. The more we participate in similar actions, so life will win. You never know! GIVE LIFE "
Our joy is great for our 16th compatible donor!
Another young kid informed by Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Kozani for bone marrow donation was found to be compatible with a patient in the world, a young woman!
One year after taking the sample, John is in the unique and rare position to give Life hope to a young child, a fellow human being struggling with Leukemia.
THE Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Kozani "Bridge of Life" wishes and hopes those who read this post to mobilize and become Bone Marrow donors (those that have not been done) and have the good fortune and blessing to be these next compatible Life Donors!
-Associates of the Association will be on Wednesday 1 November 2017 from the 11:00 -14:00 in the Central Square on the occasion of the Panhellenic Day of Tissue and Organ Donors for information and sampling for Bone Marrow donors.
