Final conference of the project SYMBIOSIS, Bitola, Republic of Northern Macedonia
DIADYMA SA. in the context of project implementation «SYMBIOSIS» (Symbiotic networks of bio–waste sustainable management) of the Program Interreg IPA CBC “Greece – Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020”, successfully participated in the online project final conference, which took place in the city of Bitola, of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, at 18 December 2020.
The final conference was held through the online platform "zoom", due to the difficult conditions prevailing due to COVID. All the citizens who wished had the opportunity to watch it, as the meeting was broadcast live on Facebook and Twitter. At the final conference the partners discussed the implementation and results of the project and the actions taken.
The main goal of the SYMBIOSIS project is to create a complete, sustainable biowaste management system among the users of the project platform (link to the platform here: https://platform.symbiosisproject.eu/), following the plan of industrial coexistence. The SYMBIOSIS project developed symbiotic networks and brought together companies and stakeholders from all business sectors, aimed at improving industrial resources through the exchange of materials in an environmentally sustainable way. Planning and regional development infrastructure, Coupling and recovery services are key in the project to create cost-effective biomass supply chains. Therefore, the project sensitized producers and users of organic matter for the maximum utilization of biowaste.
