Today's hearing in the trial for the murder of the breeder Dimitris Graikos in the Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki has started in the Mixed Jury Court of Thessaloniki.
In the seat of the accused sits 47-year-old meat trader who was prosecuted for manslaughter.
The victim's son testified that "I learned about my father disappearing from my mother. We got calls from relatives and friends. I saw the accused, The next day, outside the slaughterhouse. He was telling us “let me help you. I am by your side for everything,what do you need”. He told us that the transaction took place and that they left in a different direction. I knew that my father had to take money from the accused. He went to his stable to ask for the previous debts ", reports grtimes.gr.
Among other things, the witness stated: "We later learned that he had many unpaid debts. There was a rumor that he was a bully and that he was feared. It was 120-130 kilos and old was a boxer. My father went to the stable because he thought he had been deceived. He would not be afraid because of his physique (the accused)».
