Authorities' investigations appear to have reached the accomplice of the 34-year-old who attacked Ioanna Paliospyrou with vitriol. The accomplice seems to be a 40-year-old Greek who had contact with the 34-year-old before and after the attack.
According to what Vassilis Lambropoulos mentioned to MEGA, the police who investigated the case of the attack with the vitriol and reached the location and the arrest of the 34-year-old perpetrator, have focused their investigations on a specific person and a missing cell phone.
From the examination of the 34-year-old's mobile phone, it was revealed that before and after the vitriol attack on Ioanna, the accused had communicated through a known application with a 40-year-old friend of hers, who lives in Piraeus and works in a coffee company.
The police had examined the possibility that the search for the caustic liquid had taken place (vitriol) through that of man.
When the police asked the 4-year-old to hand over their mobile phone, used at the time of the vitriol attack, to examine it, he claimed he had sold it to a stranger.
The police searched for this device through the IMEI number, and found that this device has been damaged.
Authorities are now investigating the 40-year-old man, however, no further evidence has been found to link him to the case.
