More detail, On Monday, rains are initially expected in several parts of the country, with stronger phenomena and sporadic thunderstorms in the east, at South, in Halkidiki and the Aegean. By nightfall the rains will be limited to the eastern and southern continents, in Thrace and the Aegean.
Transient snowfalls will occur in the central and northern mountains, temporarily in areas of Western Macedonia with lower altitude, and towards night in areas of Northern Evros with very low altitude. The temperature will fluctuate in Western Macedonia from 0 to 6 grades, in the rest of Northern Greece from 2 to 12, in Epirus from 5 to 18 grades, in Thessaly from 5 to 14, on the rest of the mainland from 9 to 19 grades, in the Ionian Islands from 13 to 18 and in the island parts of the Aegean from 11 to 18 grades, while in Crete the maximums will reach 20-21 Celsius degrees. The winds in the Central and North Aegean will gradually turn to northerly directions and will intensify in 7-8 Beaufort.
