The Ministry of Education announced four measures for squatting in schools, while clarifications were given on distance learning, but also for absences.

In case of emergency or unforeseen event, which makes it impossible or particularly difficult to carry out the educational process in a department or in an entire school unit, schools are required to provide modern distance education, compulsory for both teachers and students.
Students who interfere with the educational process are not allowed to participate in modern distance education and receive absences for as many teaching hours as the schedule of the day provides..
The absence of a student from every teaching hour of modern distance education is recorded by the teacher, is counted in the total number of absences and is taken into account for the characterization of the student.
Every teacher is obliged to record in every appropriate way the titles of the unit he taught daily.
Clarifications for distance learning
Clarifications regarding students' access to e-learning were provided by the Deputy Government Spokesperson, Aristotle Peloni. As he said:
We have upgraded the digital systems of the sub. Education for the implementation of distance education.
We have secured a free platform for e-learning, which has already been connected since the beginning of the school year with the Panhellenic School Network.
We have secured free data (data) for the use of platforms used by the Ministry of Education for distance learning.
We have strengthened schools with over 20.00 portable devices already available, by decision of the director, to those who need them. About more are expected 50.000 devices through NSRF.
It is possible to connect to the e-learning platform even by phone, with a simple phone call with a local charge.
