It decongests, according to secure information, the Bodosakeio Hospital of Ptolemaida, in the treatment of patients with coronavirus. The numbers of discharges are encouraging, while new imports are almost zero.
It is characteristic that only on Monday 18 January were recorded 7 discharges, while within the previous week, the discharges were 12.
The fact is also pleasant, of the discharge from the ICU of a patient with covid-19 from another city in Western Macedonia, who is now being treated in good condition at the Pathology Clinic of the Hospital of his city.
While inpatients with coronavirus were consistently above 50 for months, today are less than 20, which has significantly decongested the Hospital, and has filled its staff with satisfaction.
Finally, it is worth noting some interesting statistics:
- Over 440 patients with covid-19 have been hospitalized in Bodosakeio
- Over 2.300 people passed through Bodosakeio, from all over Western and Central Macedonia, as suspicious incidents for covid-19. All these incidents, examined them or was treated by the Hospital.
- Bodosakeio was designated as the only non-University Reference Hospital for Coronavirus, and has treated patients with coronavirus, from Grevena to Serres.
