With great success, with very good weather and with all the measures of protection from the coronavirus pandemic, πραγματοποιήθηκε την Κυριακή το απόγευμα 4 October, at the Archaeological Site of Aiani – Royal Necropolis (at Livadia), the theatrical performance entitled: "It simply came to our notice then. The myth of Persephone ". The trip to the opposite bank.
The play was organized by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Kozani in collaboration with the Director Efthymis Christou and members of the Amateur Theater Group of Kozani.
The theatrical performance, that enchanted the audience, was written by the Director Efthymis Christou especially for the Archaeological Site of Aiani - Royal Necropolis, to which he adapted. For the first time one of the oldest and most important myths, the myth of the abduction of Persephone by Pluto - god of the Underworld, presented in a special, important and unique for the wider area archaeological site, like that of Aiani, historical capital of the Municipality of Kozani.

At the same time, the spectators had the opportunity to get to know many of them to visit for the first time the monumental-royal tombs of the Necropolis., justifying the organizers for choosing the venue of the show, but also on the subject.
Την παράσταση παρακολούθησαν ο Αντιπεριφερειάρχης Τουρισμού και Επιχειρηματικής Ανάπτυξης Γιώργος Βαβλιάρας, the Deputy Regional Minister of Culture Olga Putahidou, the Deputy Mayor of Culture of the Municipality of Kozani Elpida Koimtzidou, the Municipal Councilor George Ftakas, the President of Aiani Stergios Vavliaras, the President of OAPN Zisis Maras, the President of DIPETHE Nikos Kefalos, the artistic director Vassilis Myrianthopoulos and many other representatives of the artistic field and other bodies.
We note that those outside the P.E.. Kozani actors of the show, throughout its preparation, were hosted by the Ephorate in the hostels of the Archaeological Museum of Aiani, while they were guided to the Exhibition by the Head of the Ephorate Areti Chondrogianni - Metoki and the archaeologist Katerina Anagnostopoulou.
The Ephorate of Antiquities of Kozani and its Head warmly thank all the contributors for this exceptional performance, while warm thanks are also due to the staff of the Service who took the responsibility of the event. The cost of the show was covered by the Ephorate, through funding from the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
