Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a new three-week national lockdown, starting on Saturday morning.
Announcing the government's decision, which adopted the recommendation of infectious disease specialists, Mr.. Mitsotakis announced three additional support measures for those affected, noting that the financial staff will make announcements at noon and will specialize the whole network of measures.
The three additional measures are as follows:
-Employees who have been suspended for November will receive aid for November 800 euros instead 534 which was the initial compensation, and this in addition to the Christmas gift that has already been announced.
-All unemployment benefits that expired from September to November are extended by two months.
-A lump sum financial aid will be given 400 euros to all non-subsidized long-term unemployed, which I estimate is around them 130.000
