The opportunity to receive their heating allowance 100 – 750 gives the Ministry of Finance to households that did not manage to apply on the online platform myHeating of AADE until 15 December 2021 which normally expired.
AADE reopened on Monday (24/1) the platform for submitting applications and will keep it open until 15 February in order to apply and support those who meet the income and property criteria. Those who apply by the middle of next month will be paid by 28 February. This will be followed by another payment of the allowance until April 29 2022 for all purchases to be invoiced by March 31st 2022 and subject to the registration of the required data by April 15th 2022. The beneficiaries
The heating allowance:
- It is granted to unmarried or married natural persons or to a widowed state or to persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement or are separated or divorced, which consume heating oil or natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas or firewood or biomass for heating (pellet) or thermal energy through district heating. Especially, for married people or persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement, beneficiary is the person liable to file an income tax return or one of the two in the case of a separate tax return.
- It is granted for the consumption of subsidized types of heating fuels and thermal energy through district heating, for real estate, which they use as their main residence at the time of application, whether they are rented or are free of charge or are privately owned. Especially for the granting of heating allowance to the consumers of firewood and biomass (pellet) applies as an additional condition that the property is located in a settlement with a population equal to or less than 3.500 residents and the corresponding subsidy rate should be equal to or greater than 0,8. Especially for the granting of heating allowance to the consumers of thermal energy through district heating, it has been set as an additional condition that the property is located in one of the Municipalities of Serres., Εορδαίας, Kozani, Amynteou or Megalopolis.
- It is granted to those who meet the following criteria:
- Income criterion. Their annual total family income, regardless of its source, real and imputed, amounts to 14.000 euros for a single person liable or liable in a widowed or divorced state and 20.000 for a married taxpayer or married persons or parties to a cohabitation agreement who file a separate tax return or married persons who file a tax return or natural persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement and have filed a joint tax return without children, which is increased by 3.000 euros for each child. Similarly, for the single parent family the above income amounts to 23.000 euro, which is increased by 3.000 euros for each child after the first. The annual total family income does not include that which is cumulatively exempt from income tax and solidarity contribution.
- Real estate criterion. The total value of the real estate, as it is determined for the calculation of the additional EN.F.IA., which results from the act of administrative determination EN.F.IA.. of the year 2021, liable, spouse or party to a cohabitation agreement and dependents, children, listed in the income tax return for the tax year 2020, not to exceed the amount of 180.000 euros for singles, the debtors in a state of widowhood or in separation and the amount of 300.000 euros for married or cohabiting parties and single-parent families.
Each beneficiary is entitled to a subsidy for only one type of heating fuel or only thermal energy through district heating. The allowance is granted on the condition that the beneficiary purchases the subsidized heating or thermal energy fuels of a value greater than or equal to twice the above-entitled allowance from 1 October 2021 until March 31st 2022 and especially for heating oil from October 15th 2021. Exceptionally, for firewood, the allowance is granted provided the purchases have been made from 1 June 2021 until March 31st 2022. In case the purchase value falls below the above limit, the beneficiary receives an allowance equal to half (1/2) the value of purchases made during the same period.
