A new program for gaining professional experience from OAED is expected to start within September. Το πρόγραμμα θα επιδοτήσει ο ΟΑΕΔ κατά 100%, that is, both the salary and the contributions of the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries will receive each month after the increase given the amount of 663 euro (mixed)
The program aims to prepare unemployed youth in a public or private sector work environment, with a view to their stable integration into the labor market.
Beneficiaries of the act are 10.000 unemployed young people, age 18-29 years, out of education, employment and training, graduates of at least compulsory education, registered in the OAED unemployment registers, located in areas of responsibility of the Attica region (6.500 unemployed) and the region of Central Macedonia (3.500 unemployed).The duration of the program will be 7 months of full time.
Beneficiaries must be out of employment or training at the time of application and at the start of the operation.
PROCESSING place providers may be:
a) private companies, institutions of Social and Solidarity Economy (GOOD.) and
b) businesses, public sector bodies and organizations, as defined by the article 51 of n. 1892/1990 (A' 101) & first- and second-tier local businesses that regularly engage in economic activity, European Union active in the Regions of Attica and Central Macedonia.
The duration of the program is 7 months (full time).
Participants in the preparatory program are paid by OAED a monthly compensation equal to the legal minimum wage. (which will now amount to 663 euros gross).
In addition, a proportion of holiday gifts and leave allowance is paid, which are calculated in accordance with the above compensation.
The participants in the preparation program, for the time of their participation in it, are subject to the mixed insurance of e-EFKA.
The following should be ensured regarding the implementation of the program:
- All participating companies should be widely informed about the action in order to be able to host on an equal and inclusive basis
- The selection of host institutions to be done in a transparent and objective way.
- Beneficiaries do not cover existing jobs and do not replace employees / employees of the company (redundancies) in which they will be placed.
- There should be no obligation for the beneficiaries to be employed in the companies after the end of the program with the same preferential terms for the companies.
