The application process is in full swing 14 competent Primary Committees of OAED provided by n. 2643/98 to cover approx 2.090 positions of unemployed special categories subject to the protective provisions of the law (people with disabilities and their relatives, large families, three children, etc.).
The process will take up to 5 October 2021. The 2.090 positions have been withheld - as required by law- from all the positions approved for the staffing of public services, of Legal Entities under Public Law, of Local Government Organizations and Legal Entities under Private Law that hire staff through ASEP.
The special application-responsible statement is completed and submitted by those who cumulatively meet the following:
1) They fall into one of the following categories of protection, according to the article 1 of n. 2643/1998, as amended and in force:
a. Large parents with four or more children, one of the children of a large family and the survivor or unmarried parent of three minor children. For the application of n. 2643/1998 A large family means one that has at least four living children.
b. People with a disability rate 50% at least, who have limited opportunities for employment due to any chronic physical or mental or mental illness or injury (disabled). Also included are those who have a child, brother or spouse with a disability rate 67% and above, due to severe mental and physical illness, which are ascertained by the competent health committees. Exceptionally, when people with mental retardation or autism at least a degree of disability is required 50%.
c. Those who took part in the National Resistance in the sense of n. 1285/1982 (A' 115), if they became disabled, as well as the children of those who became disabled due to their participation in the National Resistance or those who died due to their participation in the National Resistance. also, children belong, the surviving spouse and surviving parent of persons executed or killed by injuries or hardship, because of their participation in the anti-dictatorship resistance against the junta of the colonels by 21.4.1967 to 24.7.1974.
d. The disabled and the wounded of war or war events, those who became incapacitated by the hardships of conscription, provided they have served in any capacity in the Armed Forces or the Security Forces and their children, war victims and war invalids of the civilian population and their children, peacetime disabled people and their children. also, are the children and the surviving spouse of persons killed or missing in the war events of Cyprus in 1964, 1967 and 1974.
e. The parents with three children and one of the children of a family with three children. For the application of n. 2643/1998 a family with three children means one who has three living children. 2) They are registered in the OAED unemployment registers. 3) They do not belong to the categories of persons who are excluded from the protection of n. 2643/1998, as defined in par. 3 of the article 1 of the same law.
