OAED grants free houses to beneficiaries of the Minimum Guaranteed Income (former KEA) according to a decision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs published in the Official Gazette.
Terms and Conditions of participation:
a) The beneficiaries
Beneficiaries of housing concession are employees and retirees who have offered dependent work under private law, insured, for at least 900 days until 31.12.2020, to any main employee insurance organization and paid the provided contributions in favor of OEK. To complete the basic insurance condition of 900 working days, Unemployment benefits due to unemployment or illness or pregnancy and childbirth are calculated as working days in insurance, while for the time of enlistment they are calculated in the insurance as working days 10 for each month of enlistment.
b) Lack of assets:
- Beneficiary applicants and their protected family members to be deprived of their own residence or other assets, able to secure their housing. For the assessment of the property situation, real estate that may have been transferred in the past or in view of the concession of the residence is taken into account..
Applicants must not have received another housing benefit (loan or home)by t. OEK.
c) Existence of protected children:
A prerequisite for applying for a residence permit is the existence of children who are protected by the beneficiary and live with him permanently..
d) Low Family Income:
Applicants must be entitled to the guaranteed minimum income
Beneficiaries have the right to apply for a residence permit located on the site (Municipality) their permanent residence. If more than one application is found, all are considered invalid.
