After Hagia Sophia, Erdogan's government turns another World Heritage Site into a mosque, the Monastery of Chora ("Church of Agios Sotiros in Chora") to Constantinople.
The Monastery of Chora was turned into a mosque by the Ottomans, and had become a museum by decision of Mustafa Kemal, last year, however, the Turkish Supreme Court ruled to turn it into a mosque.
As broadcast by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, on Friday morning the Government Gazette was published which will immediately implement the decision and the unique beauty mosaics will be covered. It may be one of the "joyful news" that Tayyip Erdogan will announce later in the day in addition to energy.
It is noted that the restoration and unveiling of the mosaics continued in the Monastery.
