Until 10 September the deadline for submitting tax returns is extended while the payment of the first two monthly installments (July and August) of the tax due must have been made by 17 September, in accordance with a legislative provision of the Ministry of Finance.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Finance, the extension was deemed necessary, due to the special circumstances prevailing, but also to facilitate taxpayers, accountants and tax experts, exhausting any time limit for extension, given the upcoming issue of ENFIA liquidations within the month of September.
It is pointed out that to provide a discount 3% to the total amount of tax due resulting from the tax return, natural persons must submit their declaration by 27 August and pay the tax in a lump sum until 31 August.

Alongside, It is emphasized that for the 70% of tax returns that have been cleared to date, no tax payment occurs. particularly, for the majority of these declarations the resulting tax is zero, while a significant number of taxpayers receive a tax refund.
