Subsidy 70% in the Small and Medium Enterprises of the Region of Western Macedonia for the strengthening of their business activity and the improvement of their competitive positions is given in the context of the new Invitation "Business support for the implementation of innovations and / or research and technology results / Business Opportunity in Western Macedonia", which was signed by the Regional Governor of Western Macedonia K. George Kasapidis, in the context of Operational Program of Western Macedonia (ΕΠ ΔΜ) of the NSRF 2014-2020 and specifically of the Axis 3 "Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises".
This Action aims to strengthen existing, young and newly established, very small and medium-sized enterprises in all sectors of economic activity (processing, tourism, trade, services, constructions, transport, etc.) of the Region of Western Macedonia which are also Beneficiaries action.
The Public Expenditure of the Action, under this Invitation, estimated to amount to 5.500.000 euro, of which the 1.000.000 euro will be distributed to companies that will implement their investment in areas Integrated Spatial Intervention (ΟΧΕ) development of the lakes of Western Macedonia and 1.500.000 euro will be distributed to companies that will implement their investment in areas of intervention of Sustainable Urban Development Business Plans (BAA) in Kozani, the Ptolemaida, Kastoria, Florina and Grevena. The Public Expenditure of the Action co-financed from European Regional Development Fund (ΕΤΠΑ) of The European Union (EU) and National Resources, in the framework of the Operational Program of Western Macedonia (ΕΠ ΔΜ) of the NSRF 2014-2020.
Businesses, through Action, have the opportunity to finance at a grant rate 70% their investment plans minimum requested grant budget 15.000 euros and a maximum 280.000 euro for the implementation costs such as :
- Building facilities and surrounding area (Erection-Renovation-Configurations), Purchase of equipment, Machinery and Software,
- Purchase of Commercial and Mixed / Multipurpose Vehicles, up to nine (9) seats,
- Website Design / E-shop,
- Certification of products / services
- Pension & investment plan monitoring
- Operating costs
- Salary costs of new staff
In the budget of the investment plan to be submitted for financing, Expenditures must comply with specific quantitative and percentage limits as set out in the Detailed Call for Action. The duration of the implementation of the projects will not exceed them 24 months from the date of issuance of the decision to join the said Action.
The Action is governed by the DeMinimis Regulation [(FROM)1407/2013] and is implemented by the Special Business Program Management Service of Western Macedonia and the Intermediate Body (ΕΦ)-ΕΦΕΠΑΕ.
The submission of funding applications (proposals) is electronic. The deadline for electronic submission of proposals to the State Aid Information System (www.ependyseis.gr/mis) the interval is defined from 27/01/2021 time 13:00 until 31/03/2020 time 15:00.
