Two self tests per week

Students must have a negative self-test certificate with them in order to attend school on Monday. The result of the self test is declared on the platform self-testing.gov.gr and through it the school card is issued if the test is negative.
Students carry this school card with them throughout the week and show it to teachers in the first hour of Monday for the first test and on Thursday for the second test.. The negative result statement will be issued to teachers through the same platform. In case there is no access to a printer at home, Parents and teachers will be able to write a handwritten statement containing the same information as the school card, the statement of a negative result.
In case a student does not show the school card when entering the classroom, will not be accepted, will take time off and leave school. The student will remain in the special area set up at the school to prevent further transmission of coronavirus COVID-19, until his guardians pick him up, in compliance with all applicable sanitary measures.
If the self-test is positive, A positive result statement will be issued through the same platform for conducting a free repeat rapid test in a public structure. On the self-testing.gov.gr. website there is a link which refers to fixed points that operate at specific times, from Monday to Friday and Sunday and the operating hours of each point are listed there, where free repeat tests are performed.
As announced by the Ministry of Education, in case of a positive result in the self test, the absences 1-2 days until the repeat test is done will not be counted. Repeat tests must be performed internally 24 hours, hence the operation of public structures on Sundays. If the repetitive, most, test is positive, the EODY protocol will be followed. If the repeat test is negative the students – teachers will receive a certificate from the test site and return to school.

Exams and extension of the school year
As announced, the in-school exams will not be held and the students' grade will be obtained after calculating the average of the grades of A 'and B' four months.
