The Association of Siatista viticulturists Agios Tryfon announces with satisfaction the beginning of the implementation of the restoration of the fountain and the surrounding area in Agios Achilleios in Bara.
Primary and important work for the association is the restoration and tidiness that takes shape and with the help of the Mayor of Voio Mr. Christos Zefklis but also with the full support of the Deputy Mayor Mr. Magiaga Georgiou whom we thank warmly.
We owe the complete restoration first to the memory of the Expatriate brothers in America Markos Giannakos who at their own expense contributed to the creation of this fountain and the basins for watering the herds and animals.
Many generations of Siatista viticulturists and hikers were thirsty for this fountain..
The aim of the association of winegrowers is always the actions for the improvement of our rural infrastructures .
