The strategic role of the University of Western Macedonia in the Fair Development Transition of the Region of Western Macedonia was discussed at the meeting of the Rector's Office of the Foundation with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his visit to Kozani.
The Prime Minister expressed his support, stating that: «one could not imagine a Fair Development Transition plan without the strong involvement of the University of Western Macedonia»And asked to be informed in detail about the design of the Foundation and the priorities it has set.
Proposing the significant role of education, The Prime Minister also showed particular interest in the retraining and retraining of human resources in green entrepreneurship., in which the University seeks to play a central role.
The rector, Professor Theodoros Theodoulidis presented to the Prime Minister the identity of the University, its vision and role as a strategic partner in the Fair Development Transition of the region.
