Georgios Christou, president of the Municipal community of Servia:
"Leaps were made to improve everyday life in basic matters such as lighting and cleanliness. Steady steps are being taken towards a better quality of life for residents in sectors that have been abandoned or discredited and concern the preservation of tradition, culture and sports. Small and large projects are started, developed and completed that will give life and hope for a better future to the people living in our country. There is still a long way to go and everyone's extra effort is needed because no one is left because of the sad situation brought to us by the dramatic decrease in population in the last twelve years."
Specifically, the following projects and interventions were implemented and are developing in Serbia:
1.The second zone flood control of Serbia is completed.
2.The works of the "FILODIMOS" program concerning the energy upgrade and waterproofing of the stands are being completed, of the changing rooms the changing of the turf of the playing fields, main and auxiliary areas and the beautification of all other areas of the municipal stadium "Asterios Megareas".
3.Anti-flood ditch cleaning.
4.Asphalting of six central streets. (Pericles, Suri, Papandreou, Koemtzopoulou, 3ης September, Ermou).
5.Telemetry with digital hydrometers.
6.Three new playgrounds were built.
7.Asphalting of road axis from Servia to Lava, Platanoreuma.
8.The agricultural road construction of the Serbian plain of fourteen kilometers started with the program (Tritsis).»
9.Road construction of livestock and professional units of the Serbian community.
10.Completion of a full energy upgrade at EPAL Servia.
11.Roof reconstruction at the GEL of Servia
12.Replacement of frames and repairs in all school toilets.
13.Reconstruction of two daycare centers and creation of a baby section in the area of the first daycare center.
14.Painting and asphalting in the forecourt of the buildings.
15.Installation of a fire safety system in all school buildings.
16.Stream cleaning Ag. George Kremastos.
17.Maintenance of the central square by painting the benches and cutting tree branches.
18.Installation of new waste bins (140), twenty recycling bins for metal objects, as well as two for paper recycling.
19.Competition for the creation of a digital museum in the Rapti building.
20.Proposals for utilization studies of Minas Kafasis house and trade fair space.
21.Proposals for energy upgrading of the old Technical High School building.
22.Water supply and drainage projects are being implemented in the trade fair area, new toilets are being built alongside the renovation of the old ones.
23.Construction of a wall and wc in the outdoor theater.
24.Construction of fencing with a railing from K. street. Karpou to I. N. Ag. Anargyron.
25.Construction of a new roof in the ossuary of Servia and creation of a septic tank.
26.Complete renovation of the Lava Park and construction of a 5×5 field.
27.Network extension F. THE. Pi. on St. Ag. Dimitriou as St. Panteleimon (Dambahana) on Pierion Street, Feidius Street EPAL and new applications for Thermopylon Street (cemeteries).
28..New lighting in the Rapti building on the wall of the second primary and the wall of the aqueduct (town hall).
29.Floodlighting in the gorge (Huni), in the outdoor theater, in the post-Byzantine stone bridge at Ag. Panteleimon and at the Municipal stadium.
30.Lighting in the 3 lights of the parks(Karatasou Olympiou Georgaki street A kindergarten Health center).
Projects to be implemented:
1.Reconstruction and maintenance of the urinals behind the Town Hall.
2.Installation of a heating system in the closed Gym.
3.Asphalt paving of central roads.
4.Reconstruction of cemetery fencing and the roof of the Lava ossuary.
5.Creation of a study for the placement of bio-waste bins in Serbia.
6.Maintenance and restoration study of Lava educational association building.
7.Paving of sidewalks.
8.Electric lighting at the entrance of Serbia.
9.Beautification interventions at the entrances of the Serbs.
10.Urban regeneration of the historic Upper Town of Servia, along with an aesthetic and functional upgrade. (Tabahana-Kukubetsi).
11. Attempt to include the botanical garden in the green fund.
