The contract for the execution of the project "FLOOD PROTECTION OF THE NORTHERN ZONE OF THE SETTLEMENT OF SERBIA" study budget was signed today by the Mayor of Serbia Christos Eleftheriou 2.317.475,00 €.
The credit comes from the "PHILODIMOS I" Program (Priority Axis "Infrastructure for flood protection and restoration of damage from natural disasters" in the context of Call IV) co-financed by the European Investment Bank and the Deposits and Loans Fund.
The project is part of the operation entitled "FLOOD PROTECTION PROJECTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SERVIA VELVENTO" and in particular of the Hydraulic Studies entitled "HYDRAULIC STUDY OF RESPECT (July 2013) and "WATER SEWERAGE NETWORK OF ITS DEPARTMENT ∆. ∆. SERBIA » (July 2009).
The Study concerning the "RAINWATER SEWERAGE NETWORK OF ITS DEPARTMENT ∆. ∆. SERBIA », has been auctioned in the past and a large part of it has been constructed. Subsequently, however, the contract with the contractor was terminated, As a result, the project remains incomplete. The Municipality of Serbia, in the context of the completion of the flood protection of the northern zone of the city of Serbia, starts again this very important project.
Regarding the projects of the Study τίτ entitled "NETWORK SEWERAGE NETWORK OF ITS DEPARTMENT ∆. ∆. SERBIA » (July 2009), the project includes the works that were not completed due to the dissolution of the contract with the contractor, while regarding the projects of the Study "HYDRAULIC STUDY OF FLOOD PROTECTION OF NORTHERN SERBIA" (July 2013), include the construction of an internal stormwater drainage network and an external pipeline for the transfer of stormwater runoff to an adjacent stream.
This huge flood project is going to provide solutions to many problems in a large part of the Serbian city. The goal of the Municipality of Serbia is not to leave any project unfinished.
The huge struggle so that the people of Serbia do not suffer from projects that should have been completed years ago, continues and proves effective.
