It opened today, Friday, October 1st 2021 special platform on the e-EFKA website( www.efka.gov.gr) for retroactive heirs. So by submitting an online application, heirs 14.600 retirees who have more than 30 insurance years, who died before receiving the retroactive entitlements they are entitled to, they will receive the amounts due to them.
The procedure concerns the retrospectives that result from the recalculation of the pensions in application of law 4670/20120 of the pensioners with more than 30 years of insurance that expired after 1 October 2019.
It is reminded that retrospectives for young retirees (after his May 2016) were paid in July and old (before his May 2016) at 29 September.
For access to the online service from the e-EFKA website (www.efka.gov.gr) the heirs follow the path: Refund of amounts to heirs > Return to retroactive heirs resulting from the recalculation in accordance with the law 4670/2020.
Alternatively, Access to the above service is also provided through the single digital portal of the state (gov.gr) in the thematic section: Family > Loss (https://www.gov.gr/ipiresies/oikogeneia/apoleia).
The procedure for submitting the application by the heirs does not differ from the one observed for the previous payment of the 11-month retroactive amounts in application of the decisions of the Council of State. Each beneficiary heir chooses the type of application he will submit depending on whether a Will has been published or not.
It is pointed out that the beneficiaries / heirs now have the opportunity to draw electronically, without any delay, these supporting documents requested on the basis of inheritance law from the single digital portal of the public www.gov.gr through the interoperability between the Bodies that abolishes the bureaucratic procedures.
Certificates required for retrospectives
In particular, heirs are required to attach the following certificates:
1. Certificate of Non-Denial of Inheritance.
2. Certificate of non-publication of the Will.
3. Certificate of Close Relatives.
