Income tax deduction that can reach up to 5.000 Euros per year will be earned by taxpayers who will pay lawyers electronically, architects, plumbers, photographers and other categories of professionals.
The 30% of the total amount to be spent by the taxpayer will be deducted from his annual taxable income, with the maximum amount of the income deduction amounting to 5.000 euro.
Alongside, medical expenses which will also be reimbursed by cards or other electronic means will be double counted in the calculation of the limit 30% of the income that the taxpayer should cover with e-receipts. The Ministry of Finance has come up with this plan for the strengthening of electronic transactions and is preparing the new provisions that will be included in a bill that will be submitted to the Parliament in the fall..
Specifically, as described in the texts of the National Recovery Plan, "For certain categories of self-employed services in which the level of electronic payments is low and therefore high tax evasion is expected, will be removed 30% of expenses incurred through electronic payments for these services and up to 5.000 euros from the taxable income of individuals. This measure is expected to be valid for up to four years ".
The list includes refrigeration - air conditioning services, Funeral services, legal services, architect services, personal care and hospitalization, cleaning and maintenance services, childcare, limousines and taxis, laundries, yacht rental services, consulting services, photographers and construction work.
For medical expenses, another way of disclosing the transactions is chosen. Medical expenses will be doubled 30% of electronic transactions. This does not include medical or hospital expenses. This incentive is expected to reduce tax evasion among physicians providing first-line medical services, as well as to allow the elderly to reach the required limit 30% via electronic payments.
According to the new regulation prepared by the Ministry of Finance:
It will be deducted from the taxable income of any natural person 30% of expenses incurred each year through electronic payments for services they provide 18 categories of freelancers, who are high on the list of tax evasion.
The amount deducted will not exceed 5.000 euro.
This measure will be valid for up to four years.
Taxpayers will be able to avoid tax up to 450 euros if they have an annual income of up to 10.000 euro, to 1.100 euros if they have an annual income of 10.000 to 20.000 euro, to 1.400 euros for income from 20.000 to 30.000 euro, to 1.800 euros for income from 30.000 to 40.000 euros and up to 2.200 euros if their annual income exceeds 40.000 euro.
