The bill for the demonstrations passed in today's vote of the Parliament, with the votes of ND and KINAL at the beginning.
The bill was voted on in principle, on articles and in its entirety "by a majority". After a roll call vote, on the principle of the bill, and on 288 voters, "Yes," they voted 187 MPs from ND, the Movement for Change and the Greek Solution, while "no" they voted 101 SYRIZA MPs, of the KKE and the MERA25.
They were absent from the vote 12 MPs, including KINAL MPs G.. Papandreou and X.. Kastanidis who had expressed basic objections to the substance of the bill. They were also absent, having sent a letter of intent, the deputies of ND N. Kaklamanis and SYRIZA A.. Vagena, Michailidis, Papadopoulos, Lappas and Bored, as well as the deputies of MERA25 Varoufakis, Logiadis and Arsenis.
