From today Monday 31 Applications for the new initiatives grant program begin in October 14.800 euros from DYPA – OAED.
The new program concerns the grant of employment business initiatives 3.220 young age freelancers 30 to 45 years, in the Less Developed Regions (LAP) and in the Region of Western Macedonia, with emphasis on digital economy.
The start date for submitting the online application for the positions of the 1st cycle is set on 31/10/2022 and time 13:00 and the deadline for submission is defined as 2/12/2022 and time 15:00.
The main objective of the program is to promote the employment of the unemployed through their support for the creation of new businesses.
The action concerns:
in 3.000 new businesses created by former unemployed people 30-45 years from 1/1/2022 in the Less Developed Regions (LAP) of the country (Regions of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly and Western Greece) and
in 220 new businesses respectively created by former unemployed people 30-45 years from 1/1/2022 in the Region of Western Macedonia.
The Region of Western Macedonia was chosen due to the de-lignification of the region and to act as a pilot for the expanded implementation of the action in the rest of the Transition Regions of the country.
Emphasis will be placed on businesses active in the digital economy.
The transition to the digital transformation of Greek businesses is a top priority at national level both for improving the country's competitiveness and the progress of the Greek economy, as well as for the adaptation to the new international data.
The action can be implemented in cycles in case the beneficiaries of the first cycle fall short of the number of them 3.220, that is, of 3.000 in the PPE and of 220 in Western Macedonia.
Any subsequent cycle will concern the announcement of the action again for the remaining number of beneficiaries until the total budget of the action is exhausted. Potential beneficiaries who did not join a previous cycle will have the possibility to submit a new funding application.
Any subsequent cycle is announced with the issuance of a new KYA after the completion of the funding approval process for the beneficiaries of the previous cycle.
