The Minister of Energy and Environment clarified that the subsidy in the PPC accounts will start to appear in the next clearing accounts.
In the next clearing accounts, which will be issued from the end of November, the subsidy in electronic energy will be seen, according to the clarifications of Kostas Skrekas.
Speaking to ANT1, the minister reiterated that the subsidy will amount to a consumption of 300Kw per month:
- in 9 euros in September,
- in 19 for October and
- in 39 for the months of November and December.
The adjustment clause that consumers with an average consumption of 300Kw per month will be asked to pay will be 45 euro, with the state subsidy covering most of the burden.
Costas Skrekas assured, alongside, how if increases in electricity continue, the government will continue to subsidize consumers.
He clarified, however, that it is not possible to cover the entire amount of the consumer charge. Part of the charge for those households that consume more than 300 kw per month, has announced that it will be covered by PPC, while something similar has been requested from the other providers.
End, the minister announced that in the coming days one will operate 5digital emergency number, which can be used by vulnerable households in the event of a power outage due to debts, in order to reconnect immediately.
