Spyros Kalamboukas: "I will stay in the case as long as necessary in order for the soul of Kostis to calm down"
With the testimony of the close friend of Kostis Polyzos and key witness in the case, Spyrou Kalambouka completed the 2nd day of the trial of the murder of Kostis Polyzos at the Mixed Court of Appeal of Western Macedonia in Kozani.
During his examination by the Court, which lasted 2 about hours, Spyros Kalamboukas was stable with his first testimony given in the first instance.
He referred extensively to the fateful night of Kostis' disappearance:
"I asked him to come out that night and he didn't want to. I find it hard to believe he came out that night, as his parents claim. From the last conversation we had, he was not anxious about finances. But he did not want to go to Athens, as decided by his own. I think they are guilty. They never looked for him. I never saw any anxiety on their faces, like everyone else. His mother kept asking me if I had told the police that she had called me on the night of her disappearance. She was the only one who insisted. ".
The close friend of the unfortunate Kostis, Spyros Kalamboukas stated exclusively to KOZANILIFE.GR: "I will stay in the case as long as necessary in order for the soul of Kostis to calm down".
The other witnesses in the case will also testify at the next hearing, among them the hunter who located the body of the unfortunate Kostis as well as his now adult brother.
The trial will continue on 15 January 2020.
