Aiming to support young entrepreneurs who want to develop innovative projects, is held for the eighth consecutive year the Business Ideas Competition "John & Mary Pappajohn Business Plan Competition».
The Competition is organized by its Entrepreneurship Center ACT and will award five prizes 4.000 euros in each of the top five business plans. The cash prizes are offered by the Greek businessman John Pappajohn.
The contestants will be judged based on the idea they will submit, as well as their personal business skills. Specifically, the degree of innovation will be taken into account, the possibility and readiness to develop the idea, cognitive competence, the dedication and business skills of the contestants.
Those interested should submit their business plan ideas by Sunday 18 April 2021 in the www.act.edu/pappajohn-awards.
The description of the idea should contain:
- the proposed product / service
- the target audience
- the revenue model of the proposed idea (revenue model)
- the novelty / innovation that characterizes the idea
- the level of maturity of the idea
Participation only in the Pappajohn competition is a first class opportunity for each contestant to "test" his idea in a competitive environment and to network with organizations and organizations that will help him to further develop his project.. Even more, the success in the competition, beyond the cash prize, functions as a passport to find partners and investors in Greece and abroad in later stages.
At the same time, the Entrepreneurship Center organizes programs that offer free knowledge in key areas of business reality as well as consulting guidance from experienced entrepreneurs through the network of mentors and partners that it has developed..
