The Metropolitan of Florina Prespa and Eordea Theoklitos unequivocally condemns, the energy of the monk Ignatius to expel with verbal insult the 74-year-old woman who wore a mask inside the Holy Temple, at the monastery of Agia Paraskevi in Milochori Eordea, on the day of the feast.
Mr.. Theoklitos also disapproves of the monk's statements, about the pandemic. The Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespa and Eordea, After the noise caused by the incident in question, he made an announcement regarding the actions and the statements of the monk Ignatius.
"The said monk does not belong to the clergy of our Holy Metropolis, because according to his statement it has been walled off and therefore does not maintain any spiritual and administrative relationship with the bishop and our Holy Diocese ", states the Metropolitan of Florina Prespa and Eordea.
Regarding the use of a mask in the church premises, Mr.. Theoklitos stated that he will follow the decisions of the Holy Synod.
